Most of us have done it, collaborations with other artists. But what do you think are some of the best musical collaborations of the past 5 decades or so?
I'll throw one in there:
David Bowie & Nine Inch Nails. I'd say the song "I'm Afraid Of Americans" turned out pretty damn well. Their styles combined really turned out something amazing with the great quote "God is an American"

My favorites are Röyksopp & Karin Drejer-Andersson and Nirvana & The Vaselines (that was more like Nirvana did a couple of covers but did play live with them once or twice).
Oh, the "What's Going On" collaboration after 9/11 was good too.
