"THEY CALLED IT THE RED PLANET FOR A REASON!!"

Got a kinda B-movie Soviet vs US, where the Soviets turn out to be alien robots retro comicbook theme going on...

The story of the design is that the Reds (communists) turned out to actually be aliens from Mars plotting to take over the world (USA). The building in this particular design turned out to be a massive laser-eyed robot set out to destroy New York city.

That building I used as the base for the gigantic robot in the design is actually a building in the old Soviet states... crazy shit. Hope you dig!

ps. If you know what that building is called, let me know... all I have left is a pic of it.

Nice to see some personal work from you bro. You've still got it. :)

Just one thing is bothering me though: The airplanes seem to be outdated for the Cold War period. :P (But that's just my historian criticism.) ;)

It's actually based on a slightly alternative universe where the communists seized power a few years before the 1st world war started. The action in the poster takes place in the interbellum period. The soldier in front is also a WW1 style soldier, although I admit he looks pretty timeless (could be ww2 or, Korea or Vietnam too)

Cool that you picked up on it though :D
