Just wanted to submit something. I'm working on some interesting posters again but it might take a while till I submit those.
For the meantime, this is a logo I made. I'm particularly happy about the text on the top and the icon on the bottom. The logos in the middle (color and b/w) I'm a bit less happy with, client demands
In my opinion logos have to be fairly simple. I don't like logos where different colors touch eachother without any break inbetween and the logo has to be as recognisable at 10x10 pixels as 10x10 meters.
I agree with you about logos.need to look recognisable from any distances and sizes. like this one. very original. think the black combination is the best
heh yeah I totally 100% agree with you on the logo preference and opinion. Your opnion on how a logo should be is the Graphic Designers more informed and experienced way, unfortunately clients don't tend to know what good for them. oh well, at the end of the day, if you try and still can't get them to see the light, one has to put teir pride and integrity aside, and let them take the one they prefer, even if it doesn't agree with you high Design standards. its a lot better than comic sans after all
I like it. But I think the dog on the "hotel" is a bit much. I think that they should just stick with the dog. I can see how the 2-color logo would work. I like that the "fun" is red. This is a strong logo.
